Police Officer Pay and Benefits
- Starting Salary $61,235.20 per year ($29.44/hr)
- Shift Differential - $2.00 an hour pay increase
- Overtime pay
- 5% percent special assignment pay - up to 10%
- 7.5% detective pay
- 12 Paid Holiday’s - $3,364.80 per year for new officer
- 104 Hours of Sick Leave per year with no cap
- 104 Hours of Vacation Leave per year (288hr max)
- Ability to accrue Compensatory Time (200hr max)
- Compensatory Time Sell Back (40 hr accrual required)
- $250 Equipment Allowance (Uniforms provided at no cost to officers)
