Police Officer Recruit 

The Police Officer Recruit position involves training at the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Training Center (Police Academy) to develop the skills, knowledge, and abilities needed to become a Police Officer. Under the guidance of experienced instructors and police staff, recruits learn the core responsibilities of law enforcement, including community policing, investigative techniques, and emergency response, preparing them for a rewarding career serving and protecting the Tucson community.  Post closes 01/14/25

Forensic Scientist I - FEMU

The Forensic Scientist I position at the City of Tucson’s Police Department is an entry level position in an accredited Forensic Crime Laboratory, which specializes in the digital forensics discipline within the Forensic Electronic Media Unit (FEMU). Performs scientific analysis of physical evidence, prepares written reports and provides expert testimony. Other duties include quality assurance, maintenance and utilization of scientific instrumentation. Post Closes 1/16/25
